Qi Men works best when the question is concrete: whether to start a conversation, compare two courses of action, choose a practical window or understand where resistance is located. A vague request for “the future” produces a vague reading.
The Nine Palaces carry Gates, Stars, Deities and Heavenly and Earthly Stems. The Chief Deity and Chief Door identify central dynamics, while Void, Tomb, Fu Yin, Fan Yin and special structures can reveal delay, repetition, concealment or reversal.
