小指南 · Before your first cast

Three coins. Six real tosses.

Toss physical coins on your table, then record what landed here. Do not invent the totals or choose the outcome you would like.

  1. 01Take three coins

    Ordinary coins are fine, preferably matching ones. First record one question and the date and time of your cast.

  2. 02Toss all three together

    Shake the coins in your cupped hands and toss them onto a flat surface. Look at the side facing up on each coin.

  3. 03Add the three values

    Our convention: heads = 3, tails = 2. Two heads and one tail, for example: 3 + 3 + 2 = 8. Select 8 for “Toss 1”.

  4. 04Repeat five more times

    Toss all three coins again each time and record the new total. Toss 1 is the bottom line; toss 6 is the top. Then select “Build the reading”.

Remember: 3 and 2 are side values, not the coin’s denomination. Decide which side counts as heads before your first toss and keep that convention throughout.
